DESIGN AND R&D

Ansa Tech boasts a prestigious technical center capable of developing complete exhaust systems. Thanks to the expertise and experience of highly qualified personnel, it offers consulting services and support to clients, utilizing the most modern calculation software:

CAD

  • Creo Parametric
  • Catia V5

CAE

  • acustic and emissions: GT-Power
  • CFD: Star-CD, Star-CCM +
  • FEA: MSC-Nastran

Test

Ansa Tech also conducts testing and inspections for monitoring and certifying products and production processes. Among the tests it is capable of performing are:

  • Hot Vibrating Bench for component durability and qualification testing
  • Dynamometer Test Bench with thermography
  • Acoustic Tests: integrated B&K system
  • Sound Quality: B&K torso, measuring psychoacoustic parameters and real-time filtering
  • Three-Dimensional Measurement System using laser optical scanning

Prototyping

Highly qualified personnel create soft tooling, prototypes, and initial samples.

Time to market is a key factor during project development: at ANSA TECH, we utilize the concurrent engineering method, producing the necessary soft tooling and rapid prototyping that represent the performance and final appearance of the product.

All product development and co-design activities are carried out, from the client’s initial idea to the delivery of the product. Our team of engineers is capable of assisting clients in finding the best solution with the best technology.

RAPID PROTOTYPING (3D PRINTING)

At Ansa Tech, we have a new area dedicated to 3D printing of metals and plastics. In our research and development department, additive manufacturing is widely utilized: it enables us to shorten prototype delivery times and allows for modifications to various components without the need for dedicated equipment, as well as the simultaneous production of different versions of the same object for sequential testing.

We are capable of printing plastic materials to build equipment. Metals printed with SLM (Selective Laser Melting) technology achieve mechanical properties that can even surpass those of the original bars, thanks to the unique nature of the technology. This allows for functional prototyping and the production of small series. We can develop internal parameters for various powder types, including stainless steel, iron, titanium, and Inconel-based superalloys.
